Thank you everyone. Small update I've been working on the dust cover making it out of plexi. Have also started working on changing the poses on the main figures (Luke, Han, Leia) I took some photos but didn't get them uploaded to fliker before work. Again thanks everyone for your help and inspiration on this build.
March as one, Don't look back
Odin's sons... Attack!
Unleash hell! Do not repent! Warfare grants us no lament
Let your weapons slash and tear This is no place for fear
Hold the lines! Move as one! In unity our victory's won
Our shields will form a mighty wall
United we shall never fall

Started working on the figures. Started with Luke, the figure from the hasegawa set just didn't look the part.

So after a routine head transplant Luke looks the part now.

Then started on Leia, Took a micro razor saw and cut her legs off to take her from sitting to standing.

That's all for now thanks for looking in.

Exciting to see the end result of Leia !
Looks somehow "sad" at this moment... poor Leia!

After some Milliput she'll hopefully look a lot happier.

Got some more work done on the figures but got sidetracked on wanting to build a troop transport for the scene. So looked up the size of the prop then worked them to 1/72nd and made up a sketch for it. I used them cheap for sale plastic cards you can get at the hardware store a lot cheaper then getting polystyrene sheets from evergreen. Then added some bits from the spare box and brass wire. It's not the best but after some putty, sanding and primer I think it will fit in good.

Thanks so much for the tip about using "For Sale" plastic signs for plastic card stock, Clint! Your work with the Rebel transport looks great! I have to hand it to you, that is going to really add to the diorama! (You did notice a potential lighting idea on the transport???) That would look cool if you had a few pinpoint-fibre optic lights surrounding your Falcon. I was thinking mainly about the floor lights (I guess those are portable landing lights).

Thanks everyone.
Bruce: Yeah I was thinking about adding fiber optics to the transport but couldn't find a way to run them with out having exposed lines. I have tried my hardest to recreate the WWII runway lights under the falcon by frosting the leds and hiding the leads in styrene tube.
