Rex's modified AT-TE from Star Wars Rebels

Post by Floki »

Captain Rex after retiring from the grand army found himself living in a converted AT-TE (All Terrain Tactical Enforcer) with Commander Wolf and Commando Gregor. From the first time I seen it I just couldn't help but think they converted it into a Winnebago.

The base Legion Scale AT-TE model I used can be found free on Thingiverse here.

Hope you guys like this. I started by printing out a Legion scale AT-TE (All Terrain Tactical Enforcer) then scratch building some stuff onto it to make it look like the modified one in Star Wars Rebels.

March as one, Don't look back
Odin's sons... Attack!
Unleash hell! Do not repent! Warfare grants us no lament
Let your weapons slash and tear This is no place for fear
Hold the lines! Move as one! In unity our victory's won
Our shields will form a mighty wall
United we shall never fall

Beautiful work Clint!

I especially mega like the color tones used, like faded, pale and/or pastel like colors.

How did you achieve that? Really nice!

Thank you Kari! The best way I can describe how I got the color is to prime in black first then forget everything about airbrushing or how to get a nice even coat lol

Lol! Yup, black basing described in a nutshell. Or as Yoda would say, “only different in your mind. You must unlearn what you have learned.”
"Surely I have made my meaning plain? I intend to avenge myself upon you, Admiral. I have deprived your ship of power, and when I swing 'round, I intend to deprive you of your life."

Hmm, I blackbase always my builds and then add thin layers after thin layers of the color… but still, have not reached on that level you have Clint, yet at least!

Love it!!! Just watched gregors "origin" story last night. The fact that he got blown up and just got brain damage. Hard.
Loved these episodes of rebels too. So great seeing an old AT-TE being used as a winnebago.
Next steps add the shuttle and the sand worm?
Amazing work.
You can learn all the math in the 'Verse, but you take a boat in the air that you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps her in the air when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurtin' 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

I've tried to achieve a patchy looking paint job before and this is the best I've achieved so far. One thing I only did maybe three layers and didn't try to go thin but fairly heavy and didn't worry about coverage. Going against everything I normally try to achieve while airbrushing

Thank you! Gregor has one of the most interesting stories and is the only clone commando they show in the clone wars series.

Thank you Blacksheep! I found some really good files for Chewbaccas bowcaster and will start that here in the near future.
