Thank you so much, Tom. I really appreciated your words to Declan about model building. I see your work as masterful in many areas with a multitude of subjects. I really enjoyed seeing your earliest models as well when you made those posts awhile back. It’s wonderful to have moments in time affixed to an actual physical object… in a way like a Rosetta Stone describing one’s youth. I send a shout to you, sir! :shoutout:

 Where did you get this model? It looks like it would be a fun challenge!
Great work so far maestro! How long is the model?

From eBay. Thank you so much! It’s approximately twelve inches long; and I think it’s going to be about 12-15” in height.

Haha I feel certain you would never deliberately inflict this kind of pain upon yourself! Pyro’s schooner kit, which I own, is really lovely. Back when I was a wee lad I purchased an ancient Aurora kit which I believe was Francis Drake’s ship. My first ship model. I painted the decks with square bottle Testors enamel. It was far and away the most fun kit! I hope painting this ole glue bomb will bring me some joy. Thanks so much for your comments, John.

Looking great Bruce! Sounds like you got a solid plan moving forward
March as one, Don't look back
Odin's sons... Attack!
Unleash hell! Do not repent! Warfare grants us no lament
Let your weapons slash and tear This is no place for fear
Hold the lines! Move as one! In unity our victory's won
Our shields will form a mighty wall
United we shall never fall
