EDUARD Distributor Leaflet April 2018

Post by mostrich »

This month the Eduard leaflet promises us a reissue of their Heinkel 280, a plane that marked a milestone in aviation history.

Thanks for posting those leaflets, Torben! Always interesting to watch the new goodies from Eduard. The high polished NMF MiG-21 looks so good!

Eduards Mig-21:s are so great kits, excellent fit, amazing Out of the box detailing and numerous variants in decals etc.
I would say personally, belongs very high in my list of my Top-3 "best quality kits" of any times.

For those of you who who have never had Eduards Mig-21, weekend kits are outrageously cheap, they might not have PE parts or so, but the plastic sprues are same as for ProfiPack

DISCLAIMER: Nope, this aint an ad for Eduard, it's just a fact! :-D

IIRC, I still should have the "Bunny Fighter Club" edition of Eduard´s MiG-21 in the stash!

I found the B-24 bomb bay rocket projector resin set quite interesting. I never knew the Liberators carried rockets in the bomb bays. I knew WW2 fighters did but not heavy bombers.

Oh yeah.... more goodies to put a hurt on my wallet too. LOL!!

I wonder if that was for sub hunting... B-24/PB4Ys flew long range ASW patrols and rockets were an outstanding weapon option if they could catch a sub on the surface.

You know, now that you mentioned it and looking at the image of the Liberator (it looked like a RAF or RAAF, or even New Zealand/Aussie B-24) over the high seas, it could be.

The biggest question is how do the rockets get fired from the bomb bay to its target? Does the rack drop down then the rockets are fired?
