The Mk.IV looks pretty sharp. I will say to move the water can off the turret though. That position would interfere with the hatch operation. A big no no in real life! :nono:
Typically the water cans are stowed on the fenders, rear of the engine deck, or top of the turret.

Thanks Carlos, don't know why I stuck it there, I was planning on putting it on the fender. Just a late night last minute thing. Easy to relocate.

Those are some terrific pieces of work!

Those are some great builds!! And thank you for painting the F-35 the correct way. Everyone still wants to paint it like the early production jets.

Thanks Lyle and Mike.
Mike, before painting, I was looking at my Caracal decal sheet I noticed it was a color called Have Glass :hmm: , never heard of it.
After some investigation I found that was what F-35's are supposed to be painted. I bought some Mission Models Have Glass Grey FS36170 and test sprayed it. Hmm, it seems a bit metallic looking :hmm: Perhaps it's part of the stealth system I thought so I went with it.
Thank you for the vote of confidence

Yes, the Have Glass coating is primarily used on the F-22 and F-35 for stealth purposes. You will see in some photos of them that they have a metallic sheen. Should be something radar absorbing in the paint. The black coating on the F-117 was supposed to have something similar.

That is great that someone does a Have Glass paint. I need some for my F-35 that is a major shelf queen so far. That is partly because I have no Have Glass paint and also I still need to figure out how to paint the raised lighter parts of the fuselage. :whiteflag:

Brilliant work. Keep it coming.
