After waiting 14 weeks for a new tree containing the wings I checked and the problem still exists. A few weeks ago I asked for the fuselage tree thinking the fuse was the one at fault, but after looking around the internet I believe this is a problem with the kit. It seems that all who have spoken up about this is having the same issue.
I am placing this build aside and may get back to it when I feel ambitious enough to use the Dremel and putty. This is too bad because it started out to be an excellent kit.
Once Italeri straightens this issue out, which they are probably working on now, this will be an excellent, fun kit.
