This is looking excellent and I'm taking copious notes on assembly with P/E. I have a Japanese helicopter carrier to review that has a lot of this type of P/E so I need to learn how to apply it properly.

Brilliant work so far! Keep it coming!

Very nice progress on the ship. PE is truly magical in 1/700 scale. I like the tip on making the sea base and waves. never would have thought about it!

Thank you Duke and Monte, I'm working on it a little at a time. Once I start getting frustrated I inadvertently break things off so I make sure I don't get to that point. All the small parts are on and I started on the side railings. I'm glad there's pictures out there for reference.

Yup. When frustration enters your modeling work area, it’s time to go do something else.

Unfortunately, my stubborn streak kicks in causing me to ignore this outstanding piece of advice. I was only able to curb it well when I was building Dora.

I finished the adding the starboard railing, except for the bow, that will go on last before paint. I also removed the main mast so I wouldn't inadvertently damage it.

Thanks Kari and Duke.
It's taken me a little while but I completed the PE. It's off to the paint booth with it.

I got the black primer on. I'll start the grey when this is good and dry.
