Re: Latest Acquisitions - pt.3
The dual tipped one was found by model paints, the single pen was found by its usual spot - where the markers / pens are. I grabbed the last one on reduced price.

Re: Latest Acquisitions - pt.3
Well, at the ripe old age of 73.5, I bought another guitar.
I had one for years, a wedding gift from my wife, that I never learned much about other than a few chords. Our daughter took guitar lessons briefly around 7 or 8 and I learned what she learned. I did manage to knock out a mean Polly Wolly Doodle!
Anyway, I lost interest and a few years ago, our son Carson took that Ventura home with him. But, I've always wanted a resophonic (or resonator) guitar and on Friday I bought one from a guitarist on Ebay. It's a Gretsch Honeydipper model. It looks great in his photos but they aren't the best. It should arrive next week and I'll try to get better pics then. I don't have any illusions about becoming a great player on this at my age but if I can learn a few bottleneck moves with open tunings, then I'll be tickled to death! Here are a few of the sellers photos:

Very nice! I've played since I was a kid but never played a dobro. You're going to be the next Curtis Loew.
I've been wanting a Gretsch White Falcon for some time - just don't want to shell out the $$$. And I already have a Fender acoustic (which I play 99% of the time) and a Fender strat. It's a great hobby but like anything, takes some investment of time.
Ultimate-guitar.com is a great for just about any songs chords e.g. https://tabs.ultimate-guitar.com/tab/ly ... rds-685055 and on youtube just lookup 'how to play xyz'.

Thank you so much, John!
I really appreciate that link and your reply!
I've always loved how the Gretsch electrics sounded!

Went to Hobby Town today and got two new kits. One was the Tamiya F4U-1A Corsair and the other is the MG Dual Gundam Assault Shroud.

I like the Corsair - I have that one in the stash and I'm thinking about getting to it this year.
Thanks,
John
