That's a neat looking Gundam.

TJ, I recently bought a Gaahleri airbrush too, but mine is the pistol-grip version. I've just started using it but so far so good as I've tried it with acrylic (Vallejo ModelAir) as well as enamel paint and also clear acrylic. It's a far cry from my old Paasche H but I really dig it so far!tempestjohnny wrote: ↑Mon Nov 06, 2023 5:09 am My 10+ year old NEO airbrush has been giving me issues lately. I don't have the budget for a high end airbrush so. While watching Hammerhead models on YouTube, he highly recommended this airbrush.

I decided that with the Super Hornets and Prowler on the bench, I needed to up my game. Ordered some Inifini Sanding Sticks and my first set of oil paints. It always helps when your wife is an artist.

Nice catch Mike!
I have also precisely the same set of Infini sanders, they are really good!

Based on pretty good reviews and of course TJ:s & Garys airbrush shopping, I decided to give myself an early Christmas present and ordered from Amazon also a Gaahleri GHAD-39 airbrush.
My first impressions are positive, how it feels in the hand, the balance and how easily it is dismantled. Some strong similarities with my Badger Krome.
Gaahleri provides also some extra O rings.
Looking forward to some test shoots during X-mas holidays

Re: Latest Acquesitions - pt.3
Well, I’ve had minimal modeling mojo flowing since the beginning of November… but I have made a few purchase for when it returns…
I picked up both of these off eBay for lower than the prevailing prices for each item…

I’ve been wanting to try my hand on one of these large scale Tamiya figures, and I do have the uniform insignia decal sheet of theirs that includes both 1/35 and 1/16 ranks, eagles, and such…

This one was a real good price, as it did not have the instructions sheet, but I’ve already remedied that thru Scalemates… being 1/300 it should be a good sized ship on the display shelf once completed.

I did that figure ages ago - no idea where he is now but I have another in the stash. If I recall the kit engineering helps in painting.
The figure is Galland I believe.

The figure comes with two heads... a bare headed one for Galland, and the one with the service cap that looks more like Helmut Wick.
