Re: Eduard Mig-21bis Cuban "668"
Ok, sorry for the first few pics...I know what to do now to keep the codes from showing. No worries now Thomas.

Looks good Nathan, a lot of colours to deal with there!
I am a riddle, wrapped in a mystery, inside an enigma, smothered in Canadian bacon.

Thanks Vance and Kari!

Great subject and good to see a Cuban Fishbed.
I would have expected one sporting a blue-green camo scheme but I really like this one.
прекра́сно!

Thanks Erik. I like this unique scheme too. Only ever seen one other similar build on the whole internet

Finished the Mig! I've finally gotten to the bench after the rush of the summer flying season. I finished weathering the missiles and attached them and the resin wheels. The Aztec decals look really good but didn't really respond much to MicroSol, but responded too much to Solvaset!! Almost had a disaster on the rudder stripes. The model was then flat coated with Winsor and Newton Semi- Matt Acrylic Varnish. It feels good to get my first jet build done in many years. The Eduard Mig-21 kit is pure awesomeness in detail and fit. My only gripe is the Weekend kits are starting to short you too much. There's no stencils and a separate sheet from Eduard is in the 20 dollar range!! The decals for the sole marking option they do give you are crappy quality. I see no reason to not just get the Profipak kits from now on. Hope you enjoy:
