While Googling. only hits of this new word "Kampfstift" are 100% associated with Eduards Dornier kit.. :hmm:

The DO-17 was called "Fliegender Bleistift" (flying pencil) by the German public. Later on it changed to "Reichsfackel" (torch of the Reich) because of its engine troubles that caused many burning crashes.
