Thank you for the info. My eyes would not see this! I chose the parts in the instructions.

Re: Guess what/who....
I got a bit of Tamiya AS-12 sprayed on the wings and then I ran out. Looks like a run to one of two LHS' if they have any in stock. Ya never know with these guys.

Looks fair enough.... now a shop having AS-12 in stock to finish may be a challenge. Word is that Tamiya restock is a challenge due to the pandemic. Production is slow and reduced, and shipping times extended. As long as one does not have a hard time deadline, it’s all good.

Heard back from the closest (relatively speaking) LHS. They have the AS-12 ... $8.50 a can. Will be heading there tomorrow.

Thanks, but it does not see that way at all.

Yeah even Tamiya tape is hard to get. My LHS and Hobby Lobby are out of the 10mm size.Stikpusher wrote:Looks fair enough.... now a shop having AS-12 in stock to finish may be a challenge. Try Frog yellow painter's tape. It's has the same tackiness as Tamiya tape. More economical and thinner. You'll have better luck finding it at a paint store rather than at Lowes, Home Depot, or any hardware store. I used to find them at Walmart but all they have were Green frog tape.

Got some Tamiya AS-12 on the beast. This is before touching up / sanding around the tail area. Painting all the bits and pieces now. I want this done.
