Generally that's the same for me too - I've been very this year. I've wanted a Tomcat since it's release.

I can't wait to see this build I really want one of these.
March as one, Don't look back
Odin's sons... Attack!
Unleash hell! Do not repent! Warfare grants us no lament
Let your weapons slash and tear This is no place for fear
Hold the lines! Move as one! In unity our victory's won
Our shields will form a mighty wall
United we shall never fall

Finally! I actually managed to get started on this one yesterday - nothing big, I just started to assemble the cockpit parts and get a couple of coats of interior green on them. I have to say I'm loving the detail in this cockpit, it should look aces when painted up. The fit of the parts is outstanding.

I've always had an issue finding a decent US interior green, so on this one I've given Mission Models Acrylics a try - so far so good. It didn't paint very well straight from the bottle but with a few drops of Hataka thinner it went down really well. I'll let this dry over night and then start on the detail painting. This'll be an OOB with an IP decal - there's really no need for AM. I might even add the rather nice pilot figure included in the kit.

Onwards and upwards.

Cheers!

Nice brush work! I’ve read several reviews on this kit and all sat it goes together quite well. Almost like a Snap Tite.

Thanks Lyle! Yes it does seem to be pretty good - I've test fitted a few fuselage bits and the seams are pretty well hidden.
