Scruffy's SAR

Post by Scruffy »

Ok, I will go for something with a bit of color and do a 1/72 Hasegawa MU-2S SAR aircraft,

This is an older; maybe even original release so hopefully the decals won't let me down. Otherwise it looks like a fun little build.

Happy belated Birthday Scruffy! That is a great model to do. I haven't done one myself but have seen it built. I was surprised at how low it sits.

As for the decals, get some liquid decal film and paint over them. That should keep them from cracking and shattering.

Should be a fun build! Might have to wear sunglasses when working with that yellow :giggles:

Ah, a rice rocket! Years ago, there was a fuselage from a wreck Behind a hanger. I would often go check it out.

Oh very nice! I wanted to get that kit back in the 80s. Looking forward to seeing this one.
