The Duke's Last Aircraft for 2021

Post by Duke Maddog »

At the end of the year, I managed to finish eight models. See why I waited to post my Year End Review? :giggles:

Anyway, this is one of the eight finished.

This is my Fokker F-27 Friendship which is not finished but finished. The one propeller disappeared and only God knows where it is because I don't. Since everything else is done on this, I'm calling it done! I refuse to hold this until the propeller gets found; that might be years with my luck!

Without further ado, here's my Fokker:

Stuart, I'm sure you'll love the livery. :lashed:

Interestingly enough, this is a 'distressed' kit I got in our December Distressed Kit Auction. and yes, it had the propeller when I got it. I had bid on three others before but was always outbid until this time.

Thank you for looking in. Comments are welcome.

Listen Fokker… :giggles:

Mark, that is a great way to end the year in aircraft for you!

Nice job. I love that airframe and it's huge wing. I've got to get one of these!
Thanks,
John

Thank you guys! I had a great laugh reading some of these awesome replies!

John Keavdog, I tried four times to get one of these from our auction and the fourth time was finally the charm! I couldn't wait to dive into it!

John Eaton, I know, right?! I'll be keeping my eyes peeled for it while I work on other stuff, hopefully it turns up soon.

Carlos, I agree. I still have issues with all white planes, but I'm going to keep building them until someday I actually do one well.

Thanks again for the compliments from everyone else! You guys keep me going!
