I am so overwhelmed at the quality and dedication to this project! Amazing work! While you may think it's slow progress; I see so much advancement every time this is updated. All of these updates are well worth the wait!

Hey, Shane,

This is worth every hardship you might encounter. It's amazing how many are clueless to this today, Ruck On!

Cheers, Ski.

I'm still working on the Arizona Memorial and have added a new wrinkle, I will be adding a 'Before the Attack' diorama

My wife let me purchase another Revell Arizona kit

Image

I'll build the companion diorama to look like this captured Japanese photo

I've seen a few of these in various states of build, but I don't recall seeing anyone complete it. Certainly a daunting chore. Looking forward to seeing more. :shoutout:

If you can't fix it with duct tape, you're not using enough duct tape.

Thank Brandon, I going to make new decks for the 'before' build, so I removed the plastic on the bottom of the kit parts

Image

I used them as patterns

I did get farther on the 'before the attack' Arizona model...

mocked up the new decks

Image

bought some 1/350 wooden deck material

Image

and, painted the hull flat white because I plan on removing the 1959 details

Image

looks like Moby Dick, 'Thar She Blows!'

cool. Good to see her back on the table.
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..
