I saw both of those other kits when I picked up the Camaro kit yeseterday. It doesn't look like there's any cellophane plastic wrap on that Porsche boxing. I ran into that on the newer release Camaro kit. Just 4 pieces of tape on the bottom of the box to hold the lid on. At first I thought someone had peeked inside the box at the store and then tapped it shut. It doesn't appear that was the case.

All ROG kits are taped.

I just looked on eBay… the cheapest 1/48 CH-53 kit is the Revell Germany CH-53G for a bit over $55. The Academy E kits are way more.

I gave up on 1/48. Crazy prices and considering shelf space with bigger aircraft. That said if Academy rereleases a 1/48 CH-53E I'll jump on it.
