Tom, thanks.

I think you make this kit look as good as possible Lyle. About the canopy, It's always best to discover and fix those issues before the first coat of paint goes down. Still, It does look like a -17.

Thanks, Chris (is that right?). It seems like I did dry fit the canopy and it seemed "okay". Oh well.

Honestly Lyle, yours looks much better. I had such a hard time, and so many glue blobs all over that I painted mine in a Middle Eastern tan-brown camouflage. It detracts from the obvious eyesores to a point....LyleW wrote: ↑Fri Feb 03, 2023 2:30 pmMark, I’m sure yours looks much better! The finish is the one part I am quite happy with.Duke Maddog wrote: ↑Fri Feb 03, 2023 2:18 pm Wow, talk about a trip down Memory Lane! I remember building that same kit back when they were the only MiG-17's on the market!
There may not be much in them, but you sure did a spectacular job on that finish! Way to go Lyle!

Lyle you are a building machine lately!
Re: KP MiG-17PF 1/72
Brent, you are too kind. I thank you for your kind words. Only 12 more “starts” to finish!
