I had something similar happen, about 10-11 years ago there was a place called the Padock about a hour away that specialized in reproduction parts for old muscle cars. I had order new floorpans amd some other stuff for my 79 Camero. I had received the front and was waiting on the rear. Next thing I know they are out of business after being open for like 40 years. I contact the BBB they take my information and I forget about it. A few years later I get a check in the mail for $200 apparently I was in a class action law suit against them and didn't know it, wasn't the full amount but I was still happy to get it.
