The Duke Finishes Another Tank in November

Post by Duke Maddog »

One more tank got done, just after I'd posted the previous six vehicles, so here it is: my ACE Israeli Centurion Sho't Kal Dalet:

I did this one up in 'Operation Peace for Gallilee' markings. I am now caught up with all the ACE Centurion models finished.

Thanks for looking in, comments are welcome.

Looking good Mark! What paint did you use for the 1982 IDF Sand base color?

Thank you John! I hope I can be half as productive in December!

Thank you Carlos! The paint I used was Testor's Model Master. I started with a base of their Model Master Green Drab and then misted it with Model Master Israeli Sand Grey; which I also used to dry brush the sharp details.

Thats right... :headslap: I do believe that you had explained your method to me before of how you painted later IDF armor in that manner. :hmm:

Indeed Carlos. I might have. It seems to me to be one of the best ways to paint Israeli armor; depending on how 'green' they are supposed to be, I just regulate the amount of Israeli Sand Grey.

Thank you Kari! If I can, I'll pull out the rest of them and get a 'family' shot.
