Yeah, barely. In the last few days, I’ve ditch/binned three. This one came close. It felt good. I hate to waste the “money” and to r, though.

Anyway, I’m trying to get this one pushed across the finish line. It w,I’ll be “as-is”.

I don’t have a,ny more pictures yet. Wife has a Dr. appt this morning and I have a stress test tomorrow. They really could just use a bench session, though. Won’t likely be back at it until Thu or Fri.

Good to see you back at it bud. Hope the Dr. appt and stress test goes well. Is it going to be on a treadmill or by injection?

Thanks. Probably both. They tell me walking helps.

Well, a lot of time spent and not much to show. Getting ready to push this puppy home.

All the sub-assemblies are and have been done for some time. I want to weather this in a reasonable fashion....not as one abandoned in the woods for 25 years and starring in some youtube video (although those are cool). jeaton01 operated this type of equipment and gave some amazing reference photos at the front of this thread. I really don't know how to make this work, but we'll see. My airbrush(es) are not doing well.

The blade face is AK Extreme Metals STEEL. I like that stuff. Looks good.

And, here are the weathering products (if I don't chicken out)...Somewashes rust and brown, from The Detailer line, the AK Rust, Staion and Streaking set and other various things I find laying around. The dogs are frightened.

I'm watching to see how you do the weathering on the blade.

:P1:

I think the weathering will be the most fun part of this project! Yellow will show everything!
