USS Texas BB35 drydock video

Post by Gary Brantley »

Here's a really neat video of a 3D, computer-generated model of the Texas, with her fresh paint, still in drydock. It's going to be so great when she's finally finished; I can't wait to see her again!

That is pretty neat. I've been on the Texas one time and would love to go back.

I've been aboard maybe three times in my life, most recently around 1996 I guess. It's going to be in great shape when it's finished. She's such a good looking battlewagon!

Saw her last year in dry dock. You really got to be looking for it. It's painted pretty dark and she's dwarfed by everything else around her in the port.

Pretty neat. I read the your post wrong and thought it said '3d printed'. I was amazed at the detail :giggles:
Thanks,
John
