I have this one in my stash and I plan on doing the box markings exactly -- even if there is some question as to their authenticity. It's supposed to be a re-claimed British machine in British colors or equivalent (but I like the sand/dark green/neutral grey box interpretation better and will be pleading ignorance if ever questioned on the matter![]()
I do believe the unit markings are from a state-side training unit (based on the Z number code), but It looks to be flying over port moresby on the box so I'll plead ignorance on that as well if I accidentally put some kill markings on it. I had originally planned on painting it all with Testors square bottle paints as a nostalgia build, but alas, with the demise of Testors, I may have to scrap that part of the plan.
