I've been fortunate. IN all the time I've been building models, I've never trashed a kit.

Looking forward to seeing what you do with this one Stuart. As for the interior color, either a Dark Ghost or Dark Gull grey would work, unless the RAF repainted the interiors when they got them.

USAF aircraft use Dark Gull Gray on interiors. At least in most cases since the late 50's... Never rode in one that was Ghost Gray...

Pretty sure the exported ones had the ghost grey interiors. RCAF, RNZAF and RAF cockpits all seem to look lighter than USAF hurcs.
That sucks that you had to ditch the original kit. Hopefully the new one treats you nicer.
