Oh yeah... much better. I'm happy with the outcome. Just some very minor sanding on the wingtip and a little Mr. Surfacer 500 to fill in the tiny gaps. Once that's on, very minimal sanding to blend it in as if nothing was done.

I have 5 of the ICM MIG 3 kits in case anyone here just has to have one, three kit numbers, 48051, 48051, and 48025. All but the one ending in one have several figures in them. I think at one time they were as cheap as the first ICM Spitfires. I haven't built any of them yet so I don't know about that part.

Sadly, I had to dismantle the engine. Test fitted it with fuselage buttoned up. A very tight fit; even the top cover would not sit flush to the canopy. The only way to solve this is pull the cylinder heads off the block with the exhaust ports and glue them in their place.
Don't matter to me since I'm not gonna see it buttoned up and hidden inside the fuselage.

I think that I thinned down the cowling top piece with my Dremel to make it sit right…. That and sanding one of those tanks that sit just behind the spinner to give a proper fit.
