That is fantastic Marine! The only thing I can think of is finding a parts box or distressed kit in one of our Distressed Kit Auctions and sending you the parts.

You could send me the canopy, weapons, box, etc and keep the fuselage as your paint testing platform.Medicman71 wrote: ↑Fri Jul 19, 2024 2:09 pm It's probably the only kit that has been my arch nemesis. I've never been able to get the fuselage parts to fit right. It's not my new paint mule.

Unfortunately everything you want was tossed out. Check out Hobby Lobby or Michael's. They've been carrying the Top Gun 2 boxing of the same kit.

No problem Mike. I saw one on Ebay for about $23 or so with shipping included.Medicman71 wrote: ↑Sat Jul 20, 2024 12:09 pm Unfortunately everything you want was tossed out. Check out Hobby Lobby or Michael's. They've been carrying the Top Gun 2 boxing of the same kit.

I've got a 1/48 Hasegawa F-14A I hate and will not finish - wanna try those bits? If you have the canopy open it will probably work - just not sure about the windscreen. Lots of weapons built, painted and decaled. Let me know
Thanks,
John

Thank you John.
Not sure if the windscreen will fit or not but if you don't mind sending it I can see what I can do. I'll refund you the shipping cost if you have a PayPal account.

Re: Hate when I throw things away and shouldn't have
There are other parts I'm going to need from this kit that those Hasegawa parts probably won't fit, so maybe it's not worth the hassle of sending it. Appreciate the offer though.
