1/48 scale DeHavilland Mosquito FB Mk.VI/Mk.II

The kit. I will be building this as FB Mk.VI, 143 Squadron

Cockpit/Bomb Bay. This is the bomb bay with a pair of 225kg installed. I will display this with Bomb bay doors open

More progress pics. Rocket/rails all painted. Showing only two of 8 rocket rails. All are painted Black Green, flat black nose, flat white tip.

Propeller blades and spinner

I've been frustrated in figuring out how to paint the thin Grey stripe on prop spinner (see image from kit box)

I've tried masking but never can get the tape to lay flat on the curves. :headbang: :headbang: :whiteflag: :whiteflag:

I'm at the point to give up and run with yellow prop spinner instead. My mind keeps telling no, it's not accurate. Paint the stripe.

Any tips or ideas?

Yup. I went by Tamiya's color call out in the instruction guide. Oh well....looks good enough for me. Not gonna paint a single white stripe on the rockets either. :headslap: :nono: :giggles:

Found a full photo of same image. Saw it has a light grey on tip of propeller spinner. Good enough for me to do.
