I built that kit a while ago - it's not bad actually - it looks good when together but there are a hell of a lot of panels to fit together so the fit can be called :quotes: interesting :quotes:

Good luck with it.

Hmm.... up it looks like it's the same mold as the ICM mig 3 that i built a while ago.

It was a good build, nice detail. Especially with the added PE that i used. The only tricky bit is the multiple part wing assembly. Youll see

Wow! That is very nice, Kermit. I am surprised of how small this is gonna be considering it's in 1/48 scale.

:that: - nice build Kermit.

It is quite small - I seem to remember reading it was designed around plans for an air racer or something - it's definitly smaller than a 109 IIRC.

Planes such as the I-16, Mig-3 and Yak are indeed remarkably small. I once took a picture of a 1:72 scale Mig-3 next to a same scale P-47D and the Mig just dissapeared

MiG-3 is cool...did the ICM one years ago...very good kit for the price and the age of the molds---lots of features...

That is cool, Manny. One question for you, Manny - what paint did you use for the exposed metal on the cowl? What method did you do to make it "aged"? Did you use silver or aluminum paint?
