Purely and only either Mig-23 / 27 somewhere in the near future ??
All scales, any camo, even what if scenarios....
Or too limited ?
Just throwing out as a suggestion...

Re: What about a Mig 23/27 GB ?
I'd certainly be interested, You don't see enough Russian aircraft being built.
However Jim maybe right in that a pure Mig-23/27 GB might be too limiting - A Mig GB or 'Russian Aircraft' GB might be the better way to go, even with a Mig GB there would be heaps of choice in regards to types/models, and schemes too if you consider all the countries they were exported too.
Cheers!

I've seen this before too - but called 'Shared Builds' - another site I frequent has rather strict rules for GBs, including the number of members joining the GB before it can go ahead - so for those GBs that don't make the numbers, or for just when one or two guys what to get together and build something similer, they have 'Shared Builds' - when done well it can be really interesting, I've seen some great single kit ones where you see how different people build the same kit.JimD wrote:As a side note. Maybe we could implement a Dual/Duel build section. Another forum does this...the idea is two or more members build something together. Kinda like a group build, but doesn't need to meet the requirements of one like having multiple entrants.
Usually it works like this....you and I could build a Mig-23 and -27 respectively since they are similar...it's "dual" because we show the two variants...or we could build the exact same subject or kit (with different markings and AM options....) more of a "duel" since the subject is the same. You could do something like P-51 vs Bf 109...or the Bismark vs. Fairy Swordfish. Basically there is some kind of connection between the two builds whether the subject is the same, same manufacture, or same role, adversaries etc....and is usually a great way for two or three members to do something like this. It could work here if a couple folks wanted to build 23s/27s.
Cheers!

Id do a mig GB....call it "MiG ALLEY"
Every take-off has a landing...some are just better than others
Re: What about a Mig 23/27 GB ?
Ok, indeed, just Mig 23/27 would be too limiting..
Jim: Never heard before about that kind of building, sounds really cool!
But ja, either a Mig GB or a "made in Russian" airplane GB would be great!
I'm in too of course if that would be a GB! :-)
