Me-109K, Hobbycraft 1/48

Post by Stikpusher »

Yup, another Hobbycraft 109 :o This one I did a bit of work in the cockpit, adding some detail in there. The canopy hood was short shot so I replaced it with a Squadron vacuform one. Markings are from Aeromaster for a Me-109K that participated in Operation Bodenplatte on New Years Day, 1945.

Nicely gone again Stik. The spiral - decal or paint?

Man, these completed build threads are like crack for me, I keep looking at other people's builds & thinking YES I need to build one of THOSE next...
I am a riddle, wrapped in a mystery, inside an enigma, smothered in Canadian bacon.

Thank you Kurfuerst ;) Yes, Hobbycraft makes most of the 109 family in 1/48, except for the Friedrichs.
