Black? But, I see green spots also?!?

Black as a base for the grey, dark green as a base for the green, I guess, Thomas (I may be wrong).

HELLUVABUILD so far. Dont you dare to say "Im still learning".

ah...yes... thats just excess Flat Green for the wheel hub that I was just spraying over..just to empty my cup

Tigrazor--- both of you got it almost right... LoL

Anyway, been busy after the first layer of black. got some basic greys with Tamiya XF-80 Royal Light Grey acrylics. The mix is rather thin of 1:4 ration with the thinner.

Then I moved on to give it another pass. this time with Tamiya XF-25 Light Sea Grey acrylics, this time with a lighter mix of 1:6 and spraying it freely onto the surface.

Here is what the lower fuselage looks like. this aircraft is huge and man... what a boring job spraying and painting greys!!

One almost can feel you suffer, Monty. All these grey tones over such a huge surface! I am not jealous, this time!

Amazing work Monty!

So good that you leave those Tamiya jars visible in the pictures, really shows the size of the beast.

Brilliant paint work Monty! Now you know why I stick with 1/72 scale aircraft! With the exception of large, four-engined aircraft, my painting is quick and painless. Far too short to ever get boring!

Looking forward to seeing more!

Definitely i am going to take a break from 1/32 and return to finish up my 1/72 builds! oh, I miss the time when you can finish painting an aircraft with only half-a-cup of paint!

I think iam not going to miss anything if I don't build a 1/32 scale F-15E Strike Eagle in Gunship Grey. The prospect of having to paint something that is BiGGER than this in just one tone...is defeating haahaa

I still have an Academy 1/32 F-18C Hornet that I want to do for next year. I think its a good idea if I distance my self from that kit for a while... LoL
