Messerschmitt Me 262A, Matchbox, 1:72

Post by Bolleken »

Good morning Sirs!
Don't wanna spent so much words, because maybe some of you followed my "in progress" thread.

I like this old kit and its shape very much. The "Schwalbe" is oob.

I like it! Especially the angles that show off the bare rear end... :giggles:

Incredible work, sir!!! Your design work with the paint job is incredible! Such an amazing job of color and finish work here, with a great sense of proportions: the degree to which bare metal with putty lines is judged is just spot on, and makes perfect sense. As both (1) an imaginative take on the "Red X," and (2) a study of metal finishes beneath Late Luftwaffe camouflage patterns, you have succeeded. Top marks.
Make more models!

That is an excellent finish! I think you should buy the Revell or the Hasegawa Schwalbe because such a nice paintwork is a bit wasted on the Marchbox kit.

Not at all... more proof that it is the modeler and not the model. Excellent results from a mediocre kit.

Thank you all. I guess the overall shape of the Matchbox Edition is Not that bad.
Nevertheless I have got 1 or 2 Revell on stock, waiting for the new Airfix...
