I believe Marius is referencing an aircraft which came to be known as the TR-3B. He referenced a sighting in Belgium where the craft itself is clearly capable of VTOL maneuvers, and in UFO lore is considered an Air Force craft designed with extra solar technologies. This fits in with his thesis of "What if?" types of aircraft. In fact, extra solar design is one of the greatest speculative areas for model building. I love Gerry Anderson's Thunderbirds dearly; the TSR2 does indeed look precisely as though it comes from that show!

Ok. I see where that fits his style.
I like the "what ifs?" from the superfighter types that never made it into production like the TSR.2 or AVRO Arrow. Or the "could have beens" like the F-20 or F-17...

Hi my friends.
Beside the very interesting UFO discussion, I want to show you the progress I made during last weekend.
This summary is life from a customer meeting at work.
It is soooo boring.
I colored some details, put on decals from various kits
and did the weathering.
Now it is ready for final assembly and corrections. But I am in Slovenia and cannot go in...

Tonight I am going to add a picture of my Eurofighter EFA/Jäger 90 Cockpit.

The markings make it look more plausible now with that unique what if scheme.

Wow. It is a beautiful cockpit, a little gem, so well done. Did you add details? Also the box art is beautiful and pleasingly vintage. Excited to see this as well as the jet butterfly!!

I only added the seat-belts by using Tamiya-tape. Should by enough for this model of a mock-up.
