Thanks Bruce, I think so too ! :-)
Some work has been done... nope the cockpit is not ready, still finding it difficult to finalize the remaining seat harness..
So instead I have looked what else I can work with before I am eventually forced to finalise the cockpit....
The fuselage halves were connected slowly but surely, using only Tamiyas Extra Thin glue, and glueing inch by inch
One of those things I least like, is fixing the seams. This time I was patience, kept on sanding, filling the seam with with Mr Surfacers and sanding and filling and sanding, polishing etc..
Finally I had a a very smooth surface, though difficult to see in the picture but I know after a layer of primer and coat, the seam will be gone, for good..
This evening started the construction and first paintwork / of the BMW engine... A masterpiece of itself!
Here some of the main parts have received a layer of Mr Paints "aluminium"
Some basic weathering, even if engine will not really be visible at all. The build will have all the engine panels closed.
Again a weekend is coming, however this time weekend will bring everything but bench time...
So let's see what comes next!
