This is the Revell kit, a Eduard rebox, very nice to build, nice details and a very good fit

Exquisite work, Cherrylock.

What paints are you using and how do you weather? The effects are incredibly realistic.

Thanks in advance,

thanks for your words

the paints are Enamel Revell (314, 46..) and Clear from Gunze
Oil paints
I take the origial color than light it up and darken it with black and gray
than decals and gloss
oil colors black and brown
flat clear
dry brush with light gray (75) and origial color mix
some mixed dirt and oil (brown with blue)..

build and painted in 5 days, yes it is good to build :giggles:

Looking really great Cherrylock!
Very nice weathering, I agree with Bruce, really realistic!

Isn't the SE.5a pretty big plane (at least compared to "regular" 1st WW bi-planes) ?

Beautiful build! Looking at those always reminds me of “The Blue Max”.
