Subscribed! Better late than never! Nice work rejeuvenating-building the new engine! What’s cool is how you think about what ought to be present... then mix and match and work your alchemy to create it!

Thanks Bruce. The only sad thing is that this one won't be in my collection. Hopefully I can get a chance to show it before I have to give it up. lol

[/quote]It's rare that I build 2 of anything but this one is definitely NOT on that list. lol . While I do like this car it's not one of my fave's like say a 56 Ford F-100 would be.

Still working on this while continuing on with the Willy's which I'm down to the paint and the nitty gritty details on.
Marching on with engine construction. I managed to chrome the rocker covers with the Molotow Chrome. Block and heads were treated to some Chevrolet Engine Red and the intake manifold was black based first then shot with a coat of Testors "Aluminum" enamel through the airbrush. Belts and accessories are pretty much done. I'm waiting on the spark plug wire looms which should be here today so I can take care of the wires and move on to other engine details like the fuel lines and carburetor.

Joe! Your work looks spot on! Way to take the old tooling and enhance everything with first class painting—the initial set up was really striking! Detroit iron!
