Awesome looking IP! Do my eyes see yellow on some of the instrument dials?

John,

Yeah. Which, that’s kind of weird... but I’m not worried about it. With all the trouble I’ve had with IP’s for this thing, I’m just happy I’m moving forward again at this point LOL

This afternoon I got some PE fiddle bits installed! I am trying not to be in a hurry to finish this cockpit and seal the fuselage up already, but basically- I am. So I’m trying to measure my intensity.

This part here needed cutting and sanding to get these little guys on. I prepared it and attached tthem with CA glue:

I also got those little guys installed into the intakes in there, which’ll really make for a nice touch I think:

And I also took some time to fill a very minor gap in that wing join, and sand it smooth:

There’s supposed to be a line there, but not like the gap that was there, for sure. I’ll see how this looks with Mr. Surfacer on it and re-donas necessary. My first time filling a gap with CA. I went cautiously.

Looks better, Hoss. Ya might need multiple fills, but the Surfacer will reveal that. Good choice of CA—the only way to scribe a lost/diminished join back is with CA or Milliput.

Thank ya kindly!

And yep, I’m prepared for that, that’s no problem at all if I have to do it again. And again. And again. I do t think it’ll come to that though. At least, I hope it won’t.

I like that CA glue too. It’s a Medium. Good viscosity. Stays where you want it. Longer drying time which I don’t mind because I’m a clumsy guy when it comes to installing PE fiddly bits. It works good for me.

How did that happen initially? I was trying to find a belly shot to see how large-deep-visible the join line is. Do you have reference?

I really enjoy this subject and your approach! Cheers.
