Thanks Bruce.

I've got sharp eyes for a lot of things in any given model build but one thing I guess I DON'T have an eye for is to make sure that I've got all the parts in the kit box. I was missing the grill and both bumpers from the kit. Now how does a guy miss that? :headslap:

I didn't waste any time once I found out as I've already got those parts on the way to me. Should all be here tomorrow.

Ever do something stoopid on modeling?? I did!! I had finally pulled the trigger and bought this cool HOLY GRAIL kit that I've been wanting for a LONG time. I was so excited when I got the kit to finally have it and TOTALLY failed to inventory the parts. What I ended up missing were some of the most key parts of the kit that WEREN'T there!!! OMG!!!! :headslap: I'll be leaving some nasty feedback on ebay for the seller. :ballbat:

I managed to get all of these parts from a friend on the forums. They came in the mail today. Any guesses at what the parts are??

Have I ever done anything real stoopid in modeling? HA! All the time!

At least you got the parts you need. I need to find a particular part myself now if I want to finish my space shuttle.

Looking forward to seeing how this turns out.

My guesses would be the front grille and / or the rear bumper. Glad you got that handled, bud. I had to mix and match parts from several AMT / ERTL TOS Enterprise Kits. This took donations from friends and a wonderful reseller who had a whole stock of busssard parts—which he sent me gratis. And then there is the kindness of the forums, which I know first hand. People are amazing!

It is a great thing with folks amongst us in the hobby on these forums can come together and help each other out. I would've had to buy a whole new kit and these kits right here are NOT cheap by any means at $50 +. Every once in a while there's a good deal but it aint often.
