Well, it is a piece of art I like the weathering and wear patterns. Bottom ("dirty side") really looks convincing.
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

Thanks for the comment, Lyle! I appreciate it. It took a long time for Red 1's completion but I'm happy that I got here. But before I move on to the next project, I thought it was important for me to celebrate this completion. I know its selfish but I wanted to send off Red 1 with better than five comments, ya know?

Or maybe not... that's fine too!
Just playing around with the new light box. It's difficult getting full plane shots without the visible corners of the box intruding.





From a overall look perspective, I do prefer the outside ambient lighting over this artificial setup but it's good to have an alternative when I don't have right conditions outdoors.

You could always build smaller airplanes!!!!
But seriously, those shots are great for what I would consider technical types of publishing and the natural light for show. That is my opinion and I just made it up.
