I had a quick look thru my Squadron Walk Around book on the 190. I could not find the radio headset lead plug in area. But I did find the radio controls. Left side cockpit console, aft of the throttle. And a correction to my earlier post on the oxygen regulator- starboard side aft bulkhead, that round projection.

Here is the “behalterkopdeckung.” Do I have that right?

Hmm, should read "Behälterkopfabdeckung". One of those fubar German technical terms.
Behälter = tank
Kopf = head
Abdeckung = cover

All drawings are taken from handbooks for later, A-5+ variants. But most of the shown systems were barely touched during the development from A-0 upwards.

Control stick wiring



I am using pink for the firing systems wiring... looks like it connects below the base of the grip and has one mounting clip under that.

Clint—Thank you so much for your comments. I’m gonna try to work on the control stick and the foot pedals tonight. I had a look at an actual photo—the control stick has a very different shape to it than I thought.

A good control stick will enhance a cockpit, at least when I look at one. What does the kit stick look like? Adding wiring and junction box is pretty easy but re-sculpting the handle is something I've never attempted. Don't mean it can't be done!

The Corsair had a pretty sad looking stick in my humble opinion. No sexiness at all. It looks like something you'd find on a lawnmower.

Here is the kit part! I don’t think that is bad, but obviously can be improved. I was gonna use brass and scratch build it—I dunno! What would you do?

First—that is an amazing photo, John. Second—the cockpit of the Corsair is quite similar to a John Deere tractor. I don’t want to be run off the forum for writing this, but I feel it must be written... or shown by comparison to a quite pristine 1958 John Deere tractor. I keep thinking of the Anton’s control stick as elegant and functional as a samurai’s sword, with the design emphasis on a relatable form with a superb finish.
