Nicely done till noe Stuart this old aitrfix seems fit good as the Heller hurricane I build some month ago

An Airfix kid older than me painted with Humbrol enamels - now that is old school. And good looking.
In one word: Cool.

(I'm so tired of all that "I post shaded this panel on the left outer wing with my super special brand new titanium airbrush filled with those secret formula acrylics from North Korea" - bla bla...)

So thank you for this down to roots modelling. I'm enjoying it.

I'm definitly into 'old school' modelling (I love the smell of humbrol enamals) and I don't think my builds have changed much over the years. I like old kits and I enjoy using the hairy stick ( I find it quite relaxing) - I may do some simple weathering on this, but it won't be too much.

Don't get me wrong, I love seeing the super detailed and wonderfully painted builds people produce on this and other forums - some are more akin to works of art! But that's not why I personally make models - I do it for a bit of nostalga and to relax, besides, in total I only get about 2/3 hours to model a week if that - that's partly why I don't have an airbrush as when you do 10 minutes here, and 5 minutes there - it's far easier to get a paint brush, mind you, I must have a go at some BSY scratch build cockpits at some point.

Each to their own as they say - life would be boring if we were all the same.

lol - By Dark Rye I assume you mean bread? - lovely!! (I mkae my own bread including Rye)

Marmite with butter - Marmite with cheese - Marmite with peanut butter and tabasco! yummy yummy yummy... sadly I'm at work and the only thing I have to eat is Muesli!)
