That cockpit looks super - I like your extra detailing too.

This is my first ever Bf-109 and figured I go ahead and jump directly into the deep end and try my hand at scratchbuilding some parts. In the cockpit I used lead foil from a wine bottle to create the seat belts. I also created a seat pad by folding up tissue paper and coating it with a mix of 50/50 white glue and water. I then painted it with MM acrylics and then a wash of burnt umber artist oil and turpenoid.

I liked the interior. Good job.

I need to get some more pics posted to the page to show the progress. I've run into a couple of issues of late with the fit of some parts, nothing that a little putty wont cure. Finally received the decals from Eaglecals and they look fantastic. My plan is to have this one completed in the next week or two. I'm like many others in this hobby, sometimes I sit down at the bench and just stare at the parts and cant find the motivation to do anything, and then there are those times I would rather be sitting at the bench, but life ends up having other plans for me.

I hope this finds everyone well!

As promised, I have some more WIP pics for everyone. Havent done a whole lot since the last post, but she's buttoned up and she has some color on her. Have some minor seam issues to deal with on the bottom of her, but it shouldnt be that big of an issue. I plan on getting some bench time this evening and hopefully shooting some more paint before the night is over. Hopefully I'll be able to shoot clear on everything and get to applying decals and some weathering.

Well, ladies and gents, I've finally got some further work done on the G-6, still not quite finished with her, but she's coming around. Life has been super hectic at work lately, lots of traveling, I've been to every corner of the state of Idaho in the last 3 weeks and I'm not done with that stuff yet either. Anyhow, here she is:

I've still got some more painting to do and more decals. Then I'll add the main canopy and wheels and do some light weathering to finish it off.

Thanks for looking!
