Sure thing - was one of my first builds for the older forum, placed on a military show with loads of civilians, military guys and so forth.

Well, it did draw a crowd, didn't it? Are those figures 1/35? In that case the Hund's apparent size is around double it's normal size. Clever way of playing with scale. It really makes it more impressive and very well deserves the attention it's getting. Your dios never lack creativity!

Yep, those are 1/35 figures. Thanks mate.

Dry-fit if the main components. The fit is perfect and no problem so far.



All parts have been trimmed and assembly can now start. Painting is not far off.

Cool! Strange looking beasty!

Here's an update on the Grosser Hund build.

The guard under the chin broke (of course) and was replaced with a piece of thick wire.



I added lenses to the upper sensors from clear sprue.





The exhausts were given some 3D effect by adding some tubing.





Never had so many sub-assies to be painted before assembly! So far the build is mainly sanding practice and an exercise in organizing skill. LOL

Oh look! A plastic farm....can I pick some? That is a lot of "stuff" to keep track of! Looking good. Like the scratch work, too.

LOL. I'll try and not give it a third leg and then wonder where'd the left arm went.

I painted the engine, shoulder mount and missile heads as these had to be in place and masked before laying down the base coat.
