I finally found the time to update my photos from Photocrap to Postimage!!

I have been back on the bench since I'm been out of work due to a backache. I will post more progress pics once I get a new chip for my camera. Not only I was working on this kit, I've started the Sherman kit as well.

So we have two backs in here:

1. An aching one which I'm sorry for. All the best!
2. A back on the bench-back. That's the one I like!

Awesome! I mentioned this kit in another thread and now we get to see it being built! The Tamiya T-Bolt kits are excellent so you should enjoy how it goes together.

The kit is so far into the build, I'm down to the last bits and decals.

Gear struts with gear doors attached, tail gear doors:



Wing flaps - I've opt to have them in down position once finished:



Cowling with checkered decals and engine installed. Decals weren't too hard to put on. I think patience is the key when doing these decals. (Flat clearcoat is already applied)



The kit where I left off. Yeah, the invasion stripes are painted on. I used dirty white and flat black. I chose not to use the kit supplied invasion stripes. I will admit, they were hard to line up and get them in equal parts.





And the next...

Thank you. I went with green zinc chromate for the cockpit. Then I weathered it using Model Master Black Detail Wash to give it a worn out look. I need to find out if I did take a picture of the cockpit or not. If I do, I will post it.

Looking great Blacksheep! Lots of color with those checks and stripes... but isn't mixing those a fashion faux paus?

Yes, the top half of the cowling is ZCG and the bottom half neutral grey as per instruction in Tamiya website.
