Ok, this has been so far for me a "speed build", the main pieces are now attached and time for the 1st layer of primer...

First protecting the pit.. As I will build this bird with with an open canopy I had to do this way.. Because the canopy of the closed version does not fit, due to slightly bigger instrumentpanel in this "open" version.. But Blu-tack does the job very well...

Then a layer of Vallejos primer...

And voila, ready for next steps...

Got finally the paint I was missing, in other words "Dark Sea Grey", so I could finally start the real stuff...

Bought also two spray cans of Revells Clear Gloss & Clear Matt. No idea if they are good products, but let's see!

First some protection of the pit, again Blue-tac is the name of the game here..
