Thanks Gino! I'm making great strides with this kit and nearly at the end already, it's been a blast, here's my latest progress...

The wings were looking a bit lonely, so it was time to make and fit the engines (in the meantime I also got some fuselage camo done!)...







After the engines were done, I completed the underside of the iconic jet by fitting the undercarriage and rockets...



Time had come to paint the canopy...



I then finished the camo (maybe went a little bit overboard with the mottling, but I enjoyed myself!) and applied a coat of Clear and once dry it will be ready for the decals...



One more big effort and all will be done, loving this build!

Thanks Stu, here is the end of build, decals placed and matt cote on, unfortunately there was a little bit of silvering on the wing decals, but I can live with that, as I really enjoyed this build!

Yeah they're nice kits - I have the Vought F-8E that I should get to at some point!

Lyle, there are now four working Me-262's that fly. I haven't seen them, but I did see a YouTube vid showing them. They were in Europe last I'd heard but they are trying to get them to all the air shows they can. Maybe someday soon you'll see one fly.
