I really don't know...but I do know that it will be substantial! That disc is heavy...plus with the wings hanging back there too....
Gonna pack as much lead in the "cheeks"(a bit of space between the pit side consoles - nose gear bay...a bit more space in front of the IP...also enough room to get about a dozen pennies in behind the pit, along with some sheet lead around the sides...probably some room in the nacelles as well. She'll probably be beyond scale weight!!!

If I'm not mistaken, I've done a Hawkeye kit years ago (Hasegawa), I didn't add more weight in the nacelles. The disc isn't heavy as you may think once fully assembled. My thought is if you do add weight in the nacelles, it may make it more a tail sitter than ever because you're distributing more weight to the tail. Dry fit them to make sure they don't.

I'm pickin up what you're putin down...stuffing the nacelles would only be as a last resort...and would still be in front of the fulcrum point(main gears)...any amount of weight ahead of the fulcrum can only help (until there's too much and the gears collapse!!!)!

Got 'er closed up...
Crammed in some lead and a bunch of pennies first...
Used a piece of spare PE for the ceiling, over the entry...

Nice job Fermis. Are you hiding your kid's college fund inside there?
I have a friend who builds exclusively in 1/72 scale armor and he dds pennies inside all his vehicles to add weight to them. He jokes that his girls will have to break open all his tanks to get their college funds!
Looking forward to seeing more. I have one of these as a shelf queen from a decade ago. I just might have to pull it out and finish it.

Fortunately.....or maybe unfortunately, depending on how you wanna look at it...having to pay for college is not a big threat!. I just hope the kid marries somebody that has his head on the outside of his @$$!!!
