I could never meet a 4 week deadline with a build. It's probably a good thing too because I'd need to come up with display space quicker. lol.

thanks for all the feedback, feel free to write critics too.

The wood color is on like most of the WW1 wood parts: enamel beige/sand base color/ glossy clear / oil color with white spirit and a more or less hard brush
with a hard brush you have lines down to the sand color
with a softer brush you only have lighter and darker shades
with out the glossy clear the the darker brown goes the the sand and you have no sand lines

the oil color get so much white spirit that the color is flat and near dry till 5min of painting so you have only a thin layer

it is a good way but needs some testparts for training
