Ok, I remember that body style... but a four banger in a Mustang? That's so wrong...

Carlos: Right???

Stuart: Yes sir. I've managed to get under way with the engine to some degree but had to send back off to the resin caster for another engine block and an oil pan.

Subscribed with joy! Lookin' forward to the ride. So, is this a potential dual origin for your avatar name here on the forum?
It's an '89, but it's a sharp one.

I had started on the engine but needed to replace the block due to casting faults. Bubbles everywhere but the vendor squared me away with another block................as well as the missing oil pan. :yipee:

I do like the way this one looks:

There's just something about a Fox Body Mustang launching that really does it for me.

Mustang! I dig it. Have you or are you considering the "Two wheel / wheels in the air" as a stance for the model, or do you prefer keeping all of the wheels down so your models are consistent? To me, having the Fox Body in an aggressive stance defines the whole spirit of the car... plus that big ole engine could be visible from below.

There are several times that I've thought about doing that and there's even racing slicks available that have the torque wrinkle in the sidewalls.

The problem with that is that I would have to paint a driver figure and I'm just not "there" yet.
