I've used the diy decals before with a lot of success, be sure to spray the bonder in light layers AFTER letting the ink dry for a good 12 hours, and seems to work best if you multi coat, and let cure a good day before using. Also beware of using full strength decal set, it shrivels them up on contact. I have used to put stencils in tricky but needed places like the following ball turret entry stencil.....hth

Hi Brent!
I need to try some with the laser printer. I had made some as a trial with my inkjet and I think I put too much sealer on too soon after printing, per what Brent has said. I am not a patient person.
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

A couple months ago I bought a Decal Paper 'Try It' pack from Micro Mark. It comes with two clear/blue and one white/white laser decal paper sheets and a small spray can of glossy acrylic fixative. They also have 'Try It' packs for Ink jet printers as well. Not too bad for $12 + S&H. I haven't tried it yet though.

Here are the links:

According to the instruction guide, it is recommended to let the sealer dry completely before using.
